Email addresses submitted for newsletter will be kept until you choose to opt-out, which you can do at the bottom of any newsletter.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
I do not sell users’ private personal information. I share information about you in the limited circumstances spelled out below and with appropriate safeguards on your privacy:
Google Analytics (“Google”) – this web analysis service tracks Website usage and provides information such as user actions on the Website and referring links. Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
Jetpack and Gravatar Plugins (Automattic, Inc.) – Jetpack is used for the delivery of email updates for newsletters and comments. Jetpack collects data such as comments and the comment form information you provide (name, email address, URL), automatic contact form data (IP address, WordPress.com user ID, if known) and some analytics. I store your name and email address for purposes of delivering newsletters and comments, the comment data you provide and associated meta data associated with it will remain in my recoreds unless the comment is deleted. If you use an email address to post a comment that is liked to a Gravatar profile, Jetpack will use your email address to retrieve and post your Gravatar profile.
MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group) – MailChimp is a service to create newsletters and collect personal information (provided by you when you subscribe to the newsletter) such as name and email address. Currently MailChimp is not being used on the site but will be implemented in the future. So while the newsletter does not now, in the future the newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows the Website to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behavior will not be passed on to third parties.
Except when required by law, I will not sell, distribute, or reveal your email addresses or other personal information without your consent.
From time to time, I may use anonymous data, which does not identify you, but instead would look at the users of the Website as a whole. This type of anonymous data may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Examples of this anonymous data would include analytics such as page views.
PUBLICLY VISIBLE INFORMATION
If you leave a comment, certain information including your name and Gravatar image may be publicly visible. Your email address will never be available publicly. You may also add a link to your website which will be publicly available. At no time should you submit sensitive personal information to the Website’s comments area; this includes but is not limited to your social security number, intellectual property, information regarding race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, or criminal background.
