
2020 Toy Fair Trends: Deduction
It’s time to start my series of 2020 Toy Fair Trends articles! Do you want to be a master sleuth, thief, or detective? Do you love mysteries? Is deduction your jam? Then this is your year! There’s so much in this area, from unfolding escape-room like games, to real-crime like case-files, to sleuthing out who is the enemy in the game — it’s all there and you’ll see it in just about every age group beyond pre-school. Here are some of note:
Cool Features
The Break-In series from Play Monster slowly unfolds as you go through the levels, you can see that in the top pic above.
Mystery House from Cranio/Asmodee has you leaning down to look into the windows. As cards are removed, the more clues you can see and I did a terrible job capturing this in the picture. Whoops! There’s also an app tie in that records your progress amongst other things.
